There are few times in school when you actually get to learn about something you are truly interesed in...
well, now is your chance!
As we begin looking for topics that you are interested in researching for our next research projects, think about events in history that you have heard of and may want to learn more about, or a person you find fascinating but don't know much about. Maybe there is a hobby you have but you don't know much about its history or how it has changed over time. These are all great ways to find a topic that you can become an expert in.
In a 5-8 sentence paragraph write about some topics that you may want to research further and why you think the topic may or may not be easy to find information about.

I want to research a type of animal. i haven't chose witch animal i want to do yet. But I think I might do a wild animal that I don't know much about. I also think that that might be really cool. I am really excited about this project! I think this project will be really fun!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of the topics I would like to research is field hockey. It might be difficult to research because it isn't a well known sport to most people.Also I would like to research an Australian Kelpie which is a type of dog.It won't be difficult because I found a website about it.My last topic is Taylor Launter.He will be easy because he is very famous.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about doing my research topic on two ideas. I think I might do it on rare animals or sports. I think rare animals would be fun to write about because I am pretty much clueless on rare animals. I also think sports would be fun because I would like to learn about them. I think these would be fun research topics.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in doing field hockey. I would like to do field hokey because i don't play it but, it looks like a very fun sport. Another topic I would like to research is the tallest man in the world. It is defiantly weird but I am curies. This research will probably be easy because its something everyone wants to know. Anther topic I would like to research is the president. I would like to research him because he is very important and I think I should learn more about him. I am very exited to do this project and I don't know which one it will do yet!
ReplyDeleteI would like to research about why the dinosaurs disappeared from the earth because I like dinosaurs. If I had to chose a famous person it would be Will Smith because he is funny. If I had to chose a hobby it would be swimming because I want to find out who's the fasted at 50 meters. But if I can't find any of that research I would do track and field and find out who was the youngest and fastest girl at the 400 meter.

Also, because it isn't something that you normally hear about. i also want to go to Greece, but I need to know about it first! I want to go there, Because it has a lot of history about It. Also, it's been around for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI want to learn more about chimpanzees. I think they are interesting animals. Also i think they look cute. I have watched a show about them and that's when I wanted to know more about them. Lastly I have always wanted a chimpanzee and know more about them.
ReplyDeleteI want to research hamsters.I want to research them because I just got a hamster at the pet store and this is my first hamster instead of a gerbil and guinea pig.Also because we have hamsters as a class pet and I wanted to know what they eat, where they come from, how to clean them and their cages, are they cousins to other animals and do they live in the wild and if so do they live underground.
ReplyDeleteI want to do Germany. I think Germany we be good to do because it is a big topic but I narrowed my paragraghs down so there not as brawd. Also I dont know that much about Germany and want to learn more. Plus my dad moved to Germany when he was litle. I just think Germany would be perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing bubble gum. I’m doing bubble gum because it’s my favorite junk food. Also because I wonder how they make it sticky. Then again because I don't know a lot of facts about bubble gum. But one fact I found out in my book is that parents chew more bubble gum than a kid does
ReplyDeleteI want to learn about Anne Frank. I read a book about her over the summer and I got the book that she wrote called "The Diary of a Young Girl". Some really terrible things were happening in where she lived at that time in history. I want to learn more about what was happening then. I do think I will be able to find some really good information on her.

I'd want todo Cal Ripken Jr. because he is my role model.Also he is a Oriole and I am a Orioles fan!I also want to do Ryne Sandberg because he is the best player to play second base . Also I'm named after him but he's Ryne!

What I really want to find out about them is what there behavior is like are they playful, lazy, active what.The only thing I know about them is the males have mains the females do not. I think I will have a fun and easy time looking for my information.One source I will use is sirs discover they have a lot of reliable information i think.

ReplyDeleteI would like to do my project on zebras because I would love to learn more about zebras. I think it might be kind of challenging because there aren’t alot of zebras living today. Another topic I want to research is Italy because I’ve always wanted to learn about Italy. I think it would be half easy and half hard to find information about Italy because it’s a big place.
ReplyDeleteI really want to learn everything about koalas! Some of the things I want to know why they are endangered,where they are found and everything else. I think finding the information will be easy because the computer is right in front of me as you read this response. One of the reasons why I said this will be easy because in the olden days, you had to get a wagon and go to the library and find a decent book and read it. And right now, the information is at the tips of my very fingers.
