Now that we have completed some research on a holiday topic,
tell me what resources you have found the most helpful. Which
resources were hard to work with? Why?
Thinking forward to January when we begin our BIG research
projects, what sorts of topics would you have an interest in
learning more about? These topics can range from something
or someone that you have a special interest in or a historical
event that you have questions about. Tell us why you want to
know about the topic.

I find World Book Student the most helpful because it gives me so much information. I want to research on how lacrosse started because all I now is that it was started by the indies. also there is a lot of history about it so it will be easy to write about.

ReplyDeleteYou can find any type of thing on a website. I think the hardest is the encyclopedia online, because there is not a lot of in formation on the topics all the time.
The topic I really want to learn about is the cookie monster or, big bird. I want to learn about them, because they are funny characters.
I did my holiday on Kwanzaa and the most useful resource was the school portal page and the book I got about Kwanzaa. The most difficult resource was the online encyclopedia because it didn't answer all my questions. The topic for our January research i want to do is stinkbugs because I want to know why there is so many of them and why they stink. i also want to know more about them because know that i think of it the only thing i know about them is that they stink

ReplyDeleteThe resource that was most helpfull to me was the book. The book gave me the most information out of all the resources. The resource that was the least helpfull was one of the websites because I didn't get that much of information and I couldn't really find the answers to my questions.

I liked the website because the links kept bringing me to other good and useful websites such as Wikipedia,History.com,Google,etc. In January I would like to do Football because Im interested in Football and I would like to know the history

ReplyDeleteI found the World Book most helpful. The Dictionary.com was also helpful. Especially with the encyclopedia part of our chart. It was easy to find information too. The world book was also really quick.
ReplyDeleteWhat i choose for my project was panda bears.First I wanted to do owls because that is our school mascot.Second I wanted to do is a tiger because there fast and big when there born there tiny.Third I wanted to do a dolphin because there my favorite animal and they are very nice.
