We are getting ready to move onto a new unit where you will be selecting a famous person in a particular period of history to read about and study. Think about the people from Social Studies that you have been reading about or are familiar with...are there any people that you find interesting and why?

I think that the new unit will be awesome because we might be able to learn about Columbus and he is really interesting
ReplyDeleteI want to do Hernan Cortez, because during spring break I went to the Sea of Cortez. Also, I want to learn about him because he defeated the Aztecs and the Incas.

ReplyDeleteWell, to me Francisco Coranando is a cool name and it seem pretty amazing that he grew up as a nobleman and ended up losing it to his brother. Because of that he became a soldier, seeking for gold and other riches.

ReplyDeleteI am interested in learning more about Christopher Columbus because not many people know about him. Also he is a great part of history because he proved to people that the world isn't flat and has a round edge. I am excited about this unit.
ReplyDeleteI want to do Francisco Cornado because he stayed in a haunted hotel and i would like t learn more about that. Also his journey was 2 years long and i would like to know what he did on his journey. I think unit will be fun also because I have some back-round knowledge on him!

ReplyDeleteWell I would do Christopher Columbus because he sailed around the world and found the New World.He was also very brave to sail all around world though tough winters and harsh storms in the ocean without dying,or without turning back.Finally since i have some background information about him this will make my research easier to do.
