  1. I think that the setting is important to me because it is going to tell me about who the character is and what the story is going to be about.

  3. I think the dialogue is important because it tells you what the character is like. For example if one character says "Alot of things are important to me" you would guess they are probably very caring.

  9. I think setting is easy for me because it tells you where the characters are and where they've been. It tells you what day it is and time it is.

  13. I think that probably the most important elements of a story are characters and setting. I think characters are most important because with out characters there wouldn’t be a good story to tell. With out setting there would be no were to let the characters be they would have be floating.

  14. My favorite is the theme because I learn somthing.

  15. I think the theme is most important to the story because the theme is the lesson that you learn in the story. I also think characters are important because you find the theme from how the characters develope.

  16. I find plot most important because it is the main tdea of the story. That is why it is most important to me.

  17. The characters and plot because without those there would be nothing

  18. My thought is the characters are the most important thing in a story.
The characters help you visualize what is happening in the story.
The characters help you understand the action in the story.
Characters also are part of the lesson of the story.
For example, Gregory, in the Diary of a Wimpey Kid,
helps you understand what is happening and the action too.

  19. My choice is theme because that's why the author wrote the story.

  20. I think that it is charecters because charecters ceep the story together.

  21. I think setting would is most interesting to me because if there was no setting they would be standing in the middle of nowhere.

  22. I think that the characters are the most important. One because without characters the story would be extremely boring to me. And two it would be hard to read or write a story with out characters. Also the characters help make up the plot theme and climax and so on.

  23. I think that the most important element is setting. It is important to know the time and place of a story.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think that the most important are the characters because they are what makes the plot and sometimes the theme.

  25. I think one of the most important elemants is theme because the theme is the lesson and without the lesson then you wouldn't learn anything. If you didn't learn anything then there would be no point in even reading the book.

  26. I like the characters because I find each character very interesting. If one character is very interesting I normally stick with the story.

  27. I think that characters are important because without characters the story like “The 3 Little Pigs” would sound like this, “Once upon a time there was nothing and it did nothing all day. THE END” and in my mind that doesn’t sound like a good story.

  28. The setting is important to me because it tells me the time and, place, and date.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I fined chacters the most interesting because there is a wide variety of them to choose frome.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I will say the setting is important to me because I like to hear about where the charaters are.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Characters are most important to me because they are the ones who tell the story and take part in it and without characters our stories would be nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. setting is the most interesting to me because I find it easy to find.Second,Ifeel comforable about getting the setting right and not messing up.

  33. Responding to agentfrenchbear23: That is true about the characters. I feel the same way. Characters are one of the most important elements.

  34. Setting is also very important because without a setting you don’t know where this is happening and what time of day it is. Let’s say the story said “Victoria was very cold” that could leave you thinking, is she is Antarctica, is something wrong with her house, is her window open by her bed? It could be anything honestly so that’s why the author should have said “Victoria was very cold in her home in Antarctica” so that you would immediately know where she was.

  35. I think that the plot is the most important because with out it there is absulutly no story what so ever. It wold be like a bunch of characters siting around doing nothing.

  36. Setting is most important to me because it could desribe mood because, say if you were at a fueral for your relative you would be sad. Also, it would make you less confused because if Joey and Joe were playing you wouldn't know if they were at Joe's house or at the playground. So setting is REALLY important.

  37. Great comment frenchfry7. My favorite part was the great example you gave.

  38. I think dialogue is important because dialouge can tell you what is going in on in the story.Because dialogue is the conversation between to characters. Here is an example of dialogue Mrs.French said, "get redy for your test". "Okay said, Molly.

  39. I chose characters. They are the most important because if there were no characters in a story, then it would be pointless. If there were no characters in a story, nobody would read it. They are the most interesting because they are the whole point of a story.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I also agree with agentbear28. I think that the plot is very importan too.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Theme is important to me. Theme is usually a life lesson, so it could help you later in life.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Good example frenchfry7 for using Diary of a Wimpy kid

  47. I liked yours agentfrenchbear36.Your right
