I am reading the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. If I where to compare myself to the main character called Greg I think we won’t be related. First of all Greg is older then me. Second his parents are much meaner then mine. Last I have a better teacher.
ReplyDeleteI am reading The People of Sparks sequel to The City Of Ember by Jeanne Duprau. It says '"Not in MY room!" thought Torren' Toren must hate the people of Ember, the undiscovered, dying, underground city. I feel bad for Lina and Doon, the ones who found Sparks, Torren's village. They just want some hospitality. I'm like Torren because I wasn't used to Spirit, my parakeet when we just brought her home.

ReplyDeleteI am reading the 3rd book in the series A Series of Unfortunate Events The Wide Window by Lemony Snicket. I'm comparing myself to a boy named Klaus. He loves to read and so do I. He has read a lot of books and I have as well. He also has a very exstensive knowledge on words and sertin things and I have a lot of knowledge on sertin things from reading books too. But Klaus also knows a lot of words and some of them I didnt understand. Luckly they gave the defenitions in the book. He has used words like dowager which means window. He lovews to use very big and long words unlike his baby sister Sunny where she uses words likeirm or schu. I love my book and I cant wait to keep reading more.
I am reading the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. I am like Harry because he stands up to people when he needs to and so do I. Also he is loyal to his friends and so am I. Harry is dedicated about the sport he plays Quidditch and I am dedicated to the sport I play basketball. harry and I are not alike in some ways. For example Harry has a very mean teacher named Snape and I don't have mean teachers at all. Also Harry sneaks out after dark and I do not. Harry also breaks other rules and I do not. Finnaly Harry has a lightning bolt shaped scar on his forehead and I do not. That is how I am like Harry Potter and how I am not like Harry Potter.
ReplyDeletethe main character in peak is boy that lives in new york city.If I compare my self to him;first,he's almost 14 in the story and am only 10.Second he lives in new york and I live in fredrick.Next he climed skyscrapers and got in humongus trouble and I dont climb skyscrapers nor do Iget in trouble like him.Last to climb M.T everest he had to go to tibet which is a different coutry then america and I haven't ever left america.

ReplyDeleteIn the book STONE FOX by: John Reynolds Gardiner one of the quotes is “Little Willy got up early. He couldn’t see out of his right eye. It was swollen shut” That was one of the most important details because if he had that then maybe that is why he got in that crash at the end. When the author said that they probably meant that his eyes were stuck shut because of the morning eye crusties that you sometimes get in the corner of your eyes. He could have also been sick and tired at the same time.
I love greek myths. I think they are so interesting. They normally are not true but they are interesting. I like when weird things happen to them but nothing bad happens.I alspo like when something bad does happen to them and they do something really crazy to make something excellent happen to them.I always love when they fix something bad.
ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading is called MAXimum BOY SUPERHERO...OR SUPER THIEF? By DAN GREENBURG. I connect with Max in the story because he likes to play with friends, brush his teeth quickly so he can go to bed and pretend he's asleep so he can get up and rob a museum. Max is like me because he likes to play with his friends and pretend like he's alseep.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Shiloh Bobby Mason. I am like Marty because we both like animals .I would of worked to keep Shiloh to. I also care about other people to. I would also be happy to have Shiloh as a pet to. Me and Marty have almost the same personalities so we are the same.
I am now reading The Prophet Of Yonwood the sequel to The City Of Ember and The People of Sparks by Jeanne Duprau. Nickie inheirited Greenhaven, her grandfather's house. Aunt Crystal won't let her keep it. I feel sorry for her. It is huge! Ifeel happy for her because she found a new friend, Amanda. Also, I think Aunt Crystal is very mean. Greenhaven is a nice place.

One reason is that the main charecter in my book is a scaredy cat and I am normally not scared at much.But I would probably be scared if I was in HORROR LAND like this book.I probably would be a little scared. The main charecter in my book is always thinking the worst possible case scenario like me!I love this book ONE DAY AT HORROR LAND by R.L. I just finished the book.
ReplyDeleteI am comparing myself to Peak. Peak is a very well climber and also enjoys climbing and I am not sure if I like climbing or not. Peak's parents also spent $50,000 on getting him out of juvy my parents would probobaly make me take the pain. He has also been arrest and I have never (hopefully my whole life) been arrested.We are alike because we both want to visit MAYBE climb mount Everest.
ReplyDeleteLil Dipper and me are very alike in many ways. One way is that we both love basketball so much. Anouther way me and Lil Dipper are alike we both are boys and we are both good at basketball. also we both love recess and playing basketball during recess.

ReplyDeleteI ‘m just starting to read jacks run so far so good. I’m comparing my self to jack, during the beginning Jack is laying in bed all alone. Suddenly, he starts to hear a ring from his house phone. He thought that it was just his friend so Jack decided not to answer the phone. But then it kept ringing and ringing for about 5 minutes, Jack still didn’t answer it. I’m also like that because when I am just sitting and watching TV I usually don’t answer it I just let it keep ringing. But usually I answer it eventually when I get tired of hearing the same ring over and over again. I’m probably not like him because when I am sitting in bed I usually just hit the end bottom to make it stop ringing and I go back to sleep.
I am reading the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid, by Jeff Kinney. The main person I can relate to is Rowley. In the book he is pretty strange. I am also strange. (At home, not school.) Also, Rowley and I have a good relationship with our parents. I have to tell you, having a good relationship and good trust with your parents really has its advanteges.

ReplyDeleteIf I were to compare myself to Nancy Drew in Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene,we are alike because,Nancy loves to help people and I do too (sometimes).She has a dog and so do I.We are different because, Nancy is always getting kidnapped and I am not. Her dad is a lawyer and mine is not.She is 18 and,I am not!Nancy can drive and I can't.She is a redhead and I'm a brunette.She is an only child and I have 3 siblings.We have more differences than how we are alike.
I am reading the book Standing for Socks and the author is Elissa Brent Wiessman. The main character is Fara one reason why she is like me is in the book her parents say she is deviating from the norm. And my dad has said that to me before when we are just messing around with each other .She is also in a go green club at school and I am sure if we had a go green club in school I would be in it. Fara also is very enthusiastic about things and is happy most of the time and does not care what people think of her. I also do not care what people think of me because I have friends. I also am happy most of the time because usually something funny happens in my day that makes me happy. And I am sure if I finish the book I will find more things in common!

ReplyDeleteShe is very curious and takes everything seriously but still manages at least one or two smiles a day. Just think everyday someone calling you saying “Who is this? Who is that?” I would be very annoyed but I would be happy to have such a curious friend.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume. I am like the main character Peter. He has a little brother and I do too. The only thing about that is his brother swallowed a turtle and my brother has not. Peter and I love our little brothers a lot. My brother can get on my nerves and all through the story Fudge gets on Peter’s nerves. I really like the way Judy Blume writes.

ReplyDeleteThe book I am reading is called The Thief And The Beanstalk by: P.W Catanese. So far my book is about a kid who was named Nick. Nick lost his family when he was little. So now he is home less with no family. But he soon becomes a robber as he gets older with a “band”. So soon he sets off all by himself to do something crazy. What his goal is is to try and rob Jack. Now you might be wandering who Jack is. Have you ever heard of the story Jack And The Beanstalk? Well they are trying to rob that Jack because they all know he is so wealthy and rich from finding all of that gold where the giant use to live. Well his mission is to steal all that by himself. On his way there to Jacks house he runs into another “band” that is aiming for the same thing. So that band that he runs into is trying to get Nick to cross over to his band so they have somebody to do all the hard work for him. But of course Nick does not know that. That is all I have read so far in The Thief And The Beanstalk. So some of the things that I and Nick do not have in common is 1: I would never be a thief. 2: I still have my family. 3: I am not homeless. 4: if I would ever do something crazy I would definitely bring my band for some extra help. And for the things I do have in common with Nick 1: I would LOVE to be rich 2: I have the same personality as him. Wild and mysterious. That is all I have read of my book. And the connections I can make to my character.
I am reading the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. The main character in this book is named Greg Heffley. He is different from me because he is very irrisponsible. In this book he does things like stick a dollar throgh a crack of a peir and wait for kids to try to pick it up then pull it away from them. Greg is the same as me because he likes to sit around all day and not go out much and some days I am like that.
ReplyDeleteI am reading THE CAY.So far,phillip and timothy are stranded on a cay and timothy set stew cat adrift because he thinks stew cat is evil.Also phillip can climb trees and use a knife at the same time while blind.I wonder how it ends?And I like the way French Fry 4 ecsplaned their story.
